The Venue

Here at Plum Park we are licensed to carry out civil weddings, and have the perfect environment to make it a day to remember, if you would rather have a traditional church wedding and would like us to cater for your reception and party we are delighted to accommodate 
 

The Preparations

First decide on the date, One thing to remember is that more couples are opting for civil weddings these days so make sure to book as soon as possible. Check with the registrar what information and documents (birth certificate) are required to give notice of marriage, they will only accept originals not photocopies. Both of you will have to go in person to register and pay the registration fee.            

The Civil Venue

Just talk to us regarding the type of wedding you would like, what type of music you would prefer, the number of wedding guests and your choice of food and drink.

We can help arrange the photographer or have the wedding ceremony filmed, we will arrange the food and drink, party, dance, and accommodation for you and your guests, remember, you can be as formal or as casual as you wish, its your special day, just leave it all to us.

The Service

The registrar will ask to see the bride and groom beforehand to confirm various details then your guests will be invited in and the service will begin. You will be asked to confirm that you are both legally allowed to get married, the exchange of vows and rings (optional) takes place. Congratulations! You are now married. You are asked to check the register before signing, then finally the witnesses also sign.
